I know a lot of you practically live in a bikini and are excited to strip down as soon as the sun comes out 🌞👙💦 But I want to take a moment today to speak to those of you that aren't feeling so excited to don a swimsuit at the start of summer. It doesn't matter what size or shape you are, we all have those times where we break out our bikini collection and do a little try on sesh, only to be left feeling like you just want to hide under an oversized towel all summer. Or maybe you know you need a new suit, went to target and tried on a pile of suits that left you feeling real MEH about your body.

PLEASE TRUST ME when I say that a well fitted suit that is made FOR women's bodies can make a massive difference. Lazy cheap designs don't just wreak havoc on our planet, they can ruin our body confidence and self image.. it sounds trivial but I know we've all been there! Please remember it's not you that's the problem, it's just a bad suit. It may feel like it's you when you look at the large "no" pile in the fitting room. But it's really not you. (Once more for the back row) YOU AREN'T THE PROBLEM!

A comfortable and perfectly fitted suit, that doesn't have uncomfortable elastic seams, can bring all the confidence you need to drop the insecurity and go have fun. I have spent years fitting all sorts of shapes and sizes of bodies for swimwear and painstakingly perfecting my designs to look AND feel incredible on your body. If you are ready to ditch the dread, and join the confidence club, we'll be here ready to serve 👏

That is my word of advice for Earth Day.

Chances are you've already heard all the sustainable and earth friendly tips, maybe even tried them, maybe some have stuck. Maybe you're doing all the things already and that is FANTASTIC. I wracked my brain to think of what more advice one could offer to live more harmoniously. And the word that came to me was MARVEL.

Get outside, and marvel at nature. Admire all the creation big and small on mama Earth. Put your phone away and free your hands to plunge them into the wild grass. Feel the softness of flowers and the different textures of plants on your skin. Sit still and zoom in with your awareness and observe life from the perspective of tiny insects. Look up and greet the wise old trees, gawk at the insane colors of spring flowers or strange forms of fungi. Dazzle yourself with the way the sun sparkles on the ocean like a billion tiny suns. Lay down on the dirt, breathe in the sky, and let mama Earth hold you.

Marveling at nature is a spiritual practice of awareness, an act of gratitude, and a healing therapy. It strengthens our life force connection to Gaia (living Earth energy) and reminds us of its sacredness. And when we understand its sacredness, we naturally do all the things to protect it.

Get out there and start marveling at the things around you. Happy Earth Day, every day 🌎💗
